Our Mission
Our mission is to provide quality allied health programs that prepare students for examinations through nationally recognized certifying associations. We are committed to helping students achieve the skill standards necessary for success in today’s healthcare positions. BJC Medical Education Center in St. Louis, Missouri offers a range of healthcare training courses, preparing students for examinations through the National Healthcareer Association and the Missouri Association of Nursing Home Administrators.
Certifying Associations
National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
The NHA is endorsed and approved by a wide range of healthcare organizations, including colleges, vocational schools, hospitals, state agencies, state health departments, and the Department of Education; the U.S. Department of Military and Veteran's Affairs also recognizes and sponsors NHA certifications and exams. Since 1989, NHA national certification exams have been offered in all 50 states, and with more than 150,000 national certifications issued, NHA is the largest healthcare certification agency in the country. Through NHA, our phlebotomy graduates receive their national certification upon completion.
Missouri Association of Nursing Home Administrators
Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) graduates receive their certifications through the Missouri Association of Nursing Home Administrators upon successful completion of the relevant state certification exams.
Medical Career Assessments (MedCA)
MedCA is an independent third-party certification agency and a leader in the health certification field, focused on certifying current healthcare workers and graduates who have successfully completed an approved training program. Its tests are developed with health professionals around the country using the most appropriate and up-to-date questions, providing credentials that set graduates apart and help meet employer expectations in the medical field.
